Privacy Policy

Effective July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Anthropos, operated by Delan Chan (“Anthropos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, client portal, and coaching services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and, if provided, birthday.

Payment information: When you subscribe or make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details (such as plan, amount, and payment status); we do not store your full card number.

Health, fitness, and nutrition information: To provide coaching, we collect information you choose to share, which may include body weight, body measurements, sleep quality and hours, energy and mood ratings, training adherence, pain or injury notes, nutrition data (calories, protein, meals, and photos of food or nutrition labels), and step counts. Some of this qualifies as “consumer health data” under Washington's My Health My Data Act — see Section 5 for details specific to that law.

Photos, videos, and voice recordings: progress photos, workout form-check videos, and voice notes you choose to upload or record within the Service.

Wearable device data: If you connect a supported wearable (currently Oura), we receive sleep and activity data from that device via its API.

Communications: messages you exchange with your coach, community posts and replies, and any check-in responses you submit.

Application and lead information: If you apply for a consultation or download a free guide from our site before becoming a client, we collect the information you submit (such as name, email, age, and training goals).

Usage and device information: We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our site (see Section 4).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide and personalize your coaching program, check-ins, and nutrition guidance;
  • Process payments and manage your subscription;
  • Communicate with you about your account, coaching, or support requests;
  • Operate optional AI-assisted features (see Section 3);
  • Send you service-related and, if you've opted in, marketing emails;
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI-Assisted Features

Some features send information to Anthropic's AI models to generate a result — for example, analyzing a photo of a meal or nutrition label to estimate calories and protein, or drafting a suggested reply to your weekly check-in for your coach to review. The specific content you submit for that request (such as the photo or check-in data) is sent to Anthropic to generate the response; it is used to provide that feature and is not used by us to train AI models.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns on our public site. Analytics cookies are only loaded when a measurement ID is configured in production; we do not use analytics cookies in local development. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Our authentication system (Supabase) also sets essential cookies required to keep you signed in, which are not optional if you want to use the client portal.

5. Washington My Health My Data Act Notice

Because we are based in Washington and some of the information described above may qualify as “consumer health data” under Washington's My Health My Data Act, we're providing this additional notice:

  • Categories of consumer health data we collect: fitness and exercise information, nutrition information, sleep and activity data (including from connected wearables), body measurements and weight, and any information about pain, injury, or physical conditions you choose to share with your coach.
  • Purpose: this data is collected solely to provide and personalize your coaching program.
  • We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not use geofences around health care facilities to gather or target consumer health data.
  • Sharing: consumer health data is shared only with the service providers described in Section 6, solely to operate the Service.
  • Your rights: you may withdraw consent to our continued collection or sharing of your consumer health data, and request its deletion, at any time by contacting support@anthroposstrength.com. We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, financial records) by law.

6. How We Share Information

We share information with the service providers that power the Service, each acting on our behalf and solely for that purpose:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Supabase — account authentication and database storage;
  • Resend and MailerLite — transactional and marketing email delivery;
  • Anthropic — AI-assisted features described in Section 3;
  • Google — if your coach connects Google Forms, Sheets, or Docs to sync intake forms, programs, or reference content;
  • Oura — if you choose to connect a wearable device.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party advertising purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Anthropos or our clients, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this Policy would continue to apply to your information under the new owner.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 8.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us at support@anthroposstrength.com to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your account and personal information;
  • Opt out of marketing emails (every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link);
  • Withdraw consent for consumer health data as described in Section 5.

We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time, consistent with applicable law.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls provided by our infrastructure providers, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
